  1. 1% salary increase ?? no Cola ? A person will never be able to see an increase in income. For someone at $32/hr, that ‘s a 32 CENTS raise for the year. or $665 dollars a year increase !.. might as well just call it a salary freeze and be honest about it !

    1. Actually it’s a pay cut. It takes about 2.5-3% a year increase to keep the value of every dollar you earn.
      A pay raise is what our executives get. 15-25%+ every year.

  2. Lockheed Martin, please don’t insult our intellegence with this quote “proposal”.
    Your stock is paying 1.77 dividend per share/shareholder and you want us “take one for the team” with this junk. Please at least come to the table with a serious proposal worthy of consideration…

  3. Wow, if this is what Marilyn Hewson meant when she said the company was committed to avoiding a work stoppage and an impasse this is a joke. This offer is not fair, it is substandard and forces us on the streets. This from the #1 defense contractor. Wow!

  4. With the real inflation cost such as, food, gas, transportation, clothing and medical costs, the Company is asking for us to take pay & living standard CUT!!! Using managements farvorite saying…………..”That totally unacceptable!”

    1. Most of my salary friends have been forced out at age 55. They’ve lost a portion of their retirements and only to find out their jobs have been re-posted and filled with new hires. The company isn’t even playing fair with their own salary personnel. Record stocks, executives with large bonuses more than ever contracts and 30k less employees than 6 years ago and they want take a ways? Shame on you Lockheed

  6. What we have given up in the past with regards to the retirement for new hires, is a joke. We must in good conscious, increase the amount for these employees in there H-cap plan considerably. When Marilyn Hewson talks about changing the culture and being competitive, she really means changing “our” culture through lower wages and benefits, not her’s. This letter 50 will give her the license to steal our future for the companies boost to the bottom line. I don’t want to work at the Wal Mart of the aircraft industry.

  7. I’d you happened to see the 60 Minutes piece on the F-35 it puts many things into prospective! Al large part of the problems here at LMC are with the “MANAGEMENT”! Hire ‘LEADERS” that know how to treat people and a great many of the problems would fix themselves! Don’t try to fix them on our dime! And if things are that bad financially let’s have a “bake sale”!
