    1. I am absolutely disgusted at the company’s latest proposal, this is the worst one that I’ve seen in the 11 years I’ve been with Lockheed, and have little faith we will win this, I am willing to strike, and will remain steadfast, but this strike will go on for a long time, and I see many crossing the picket line…why can’t the company not try to screw us and keep the contract as it is now? LMHealthworks, OT only after 40 hours, lower wage increases, no increases for those with epns on record…disgusting takeaways. And given the current volatile political climate, and being in a “right to work” state, our grievances will go unheard by the corporate shills in the GOP in this state…the odds are wildly stacked against us. Morale is very low at the moment, coupled with the knowledge of the company’s record profits. I take great pride in my work, turn out product with exemplary quality, and have gotten many kudos from customer reps, (two know me personally now), and have won two SPOT awards on different occasions, so I am qualified to vent. Praying for you guys! Keep up the fight, solidarity!

  1. Might ask them if they want the government to have line item veto after they sign a contract. Or better yet sttrick the claus were we can strike anytime.

  2. The Company needs to understand that we are not a weak membership and are willing to stand up and fight for our Past, Present and Future membership. We are not in a concessionary mode and are not willing to accept any takeaways. The top 6 LM Execs earned $68 million dollars in 2012. Their Stock is at an all time high. We continue to hear how poor the company is and how they need to reduce our current Wages and Benefits Package to stay competitive. Bull.

  3. Unless they give some incentive to travel you can count my vote as a strike already. Single issue voter here. Strike baby! Bring on the vacation.

  4. I have worked at Lockheed 38 years and by April 1st, I will be eligible to begin to draw my mandatory Lockheed pension. If Lockheed sticks to their low retirement proposal, then I think I will just keep working and draw my pension also.

  5. When you buy something cheap, that’s what you get. Cheap stuff. “OUR BRAND MEANS QUALITY”. Quality contracts = BETTER MORALE

  6. Our CEO says she has the best work force in the world, well treat us like that if the people are treated right u will get a better product and we all win when that happen.

  7. the co. always starts with all these takeaways. We must stand together and demand our benefits. Medical (hmo) better retirement and pay increases to keep up with the cost of living. we are not greedy like the CEO of this co. We just want a job to make a living and a retirement we can live with some day. Lockheed is on top of the world making more mony than ever. We help put them there. ONE CO. ONE TEAM. (BS)

  8. I will be there for the STRIKE. It looks like the people that do all the work get nothing for the their future and after years of service looking to the future leaves no thank you for a job well done as well..

  9. An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a friend who has been doing a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast simply because I stumbled upon it for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanx for spending time to discuss this topic here on your web page.…I will be happy if you visit my blog and say something http://twitter-guide-1.blogspot.com/
